Good morning! Or rather, good afternoon >_< I woke up so late this morning, vaguely remember switching off my alarm but a little dozing turned out to be two extra hours of sleep. Yikes!

So today, for PROJECT: ABAD, I have for you the Canmake Cream Cheeks in [01] Peach Dream!

P.S. I’ve previously done an entry on it, you can see it here.

But first, what is A-Blush-A-Day (ABAD) Project?

Project ABAD was started by Elaine, Jennifer and I. On each day, each of us will present a different blush we used each day (so that’s 3 x 30 = 90 blushes), with swatches done either on face or on hand, and a short review. For my list of 30 blushes to be used in this project, click here. Don’t forget to head to Elaine’s and Jennifer’s blogs for daily blush surprises!

And since we are all clear on that, here’s the Peach Dream~

The Canmake Cream Cheek in 01 Peach Dream does not pull peach at all. It looks milky pink in pan and applies a little blue, like a soft dolly pink with silver shimmers in it.

Arm swatches.

You can see the silver particles in these pictures.

I love the texture of this Cream Cheek blusher. Very smooth and mousse-like. Easy to wear.

The flash washes some of the blue out of the pink, but it’s a really nice color, especially for fair ladies. Kyota ♥

Product Review:

Intensity: Pigmented, even though the color applies light. You can build up the amount of ‘dollyness’ you want in your look very easily.

Finish: It has silver shimmers in the product, and being a cream, you can’t ‘shake off’ the shimmers like you do with powder blushers. The silver shimmers does not overwhelm and you can always take your loose powder brush and cover it slightly.

Value for Money: Canmake does not state how much product you get in one Cream Cheek. I purchased this from Watsons at S$17.90, though there are frequent events where they go for 20% off. The entire collection comes in eight colors, the ninth is a Limited Edition matte pink.

Lasting Power: They wear really well. I would say, about six hours? I like how it fades gradually into a natural pink.

Possible Dupes: You can definitely find a dupe for this dolly-pink, just varying in pink intensities, and within the nine blushers that Canmake has for the range.

Overall thoughts: I would say to grab as many of these as you like, because they apply really nice, like a mousse-type blusher. There’s a decent amount of ‘slip’ in the product where the color glides on but not around and messes up your base makeup.

Another thing I really like about these is that the color is buildable and stays true, like the pink doesn’t change when you put on more. It doesn’t go on heavy like say, the MAC cream blushers which are superbly pigmented and you gotta blend like a crazy lady even with a gentle press. No worries about swiping off your base makeup with this Cream Cheek 😀

Have a great Thursday everybody, I have one more entry of PROJECT: ABAD coming up before I finally get on top of things. Lots more to update but I shall go change for swimming now! xx
